HARD TREATMENT

ANTI-REFLECTIVE TREATMENT

The hardening treatment is usually combined with the anti-reflection treatment (HMC). This treatment is carried out on a lens in order to reduce the disturbing images that are formed by reflection from its surfaces. It serves to obtain a better definition of the image and attenuate the reflected images. This treatment is always advisable, above all in cases of night driving to avoid the nuisance of lights, street lamps and luminous signs, for wearers of lenses with high prismatic powers or even for video terminal operators.
